Survey Results
In the fall of 2004, a comprehensive survey was sent to all Fire departments within Nova Scotia, asking questions about Junior firefighter participation, promotion, and regulations in the local departments. The response to this survey exceeded expectations, and a great deal of information was gathered pertaining to youth involvement in local departments. The following are the results from the fire departments from across Nova Scotia who responded to the survey.
